Hi,

I’ve been bouncing around the threads here and managed to get a partial solution (ie, cheat), but I haven’t found all of it.

I am trying to remove the Member Area function COMPLETELY.

I followed instructions here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13023&postcount=3 Which makes the panel’s contents always visible without any dropdown function.

I do not want the font, size, or color options visible. I removed the images from their folder, and then edited ja_templatetools.php to remove the ALT text for all of them.

This leaves me with a blank gray bar at the top of my page.

So: How do I remove the bar?

If that’s not possible, how can I put the login up there? I tried placing the JA module in user4 but it appeared in the black menu bars and spread across half the page.

As this seems to be a fairly common problem, it could be great for someone to address the WHOLE issue in one post, or even in the template guide.
