February 17, 2014 at 8:09 pm #194881Hi,
I’ve removed the quickstart module: ‘Purity III – The best free Joomla Template’ from the submenu..
I’ve also removed all the 2nd row menu items from the submenu..
I now only have 3 menu items in the submenu, with fairly short names.
I’ve also gone into: ‘Submenu Configuration’ and reduced the width to 300px
However the dropdown is still just as wide as it originally was.
Can someone please explain why?
Thanks!

February 18, 2014 at 5:00 am #523108@danskweb: I think you follow the right steps to change the width of sub-menu inside MegaMenu. However, I still suggest you compare with the sub-menu settings in my attached snapshot.
If the width of sub-menu on front-end does not change, you can PM me the admin login. I will be happy to debug further.

February 23, 2014 at 5:24 am #523939Thanks for the image and your offer. I resolved the problem by totally removing the quickstart menu items and creating new ones from scratch. If I have the same problem with mine, I’ll be sure to contact you. Might not be feasible to always remove and recreate menu items to resolve. Have a great day!
