I would like to remove the navigation map from right below the menu/header.

I am trying to upload a screen shot but it says upload failed. So the best description I can give is the bar that says

Home > Section Name > Category Name

If anyone know how to remove this from the template please let me know, THANKS!!!

Open up the index.php file for Teline and search for this:

<div id="ja-pathway">
<?php mosPathway(); ?>
</div>
And delete it.
