We are dealing with an issue involving category blog pages that are linked from the main menu items in the horizontal top navigation. For two of our top level topics, the layout is messed up and articles are displaying multiple times.
The issue can be seen on our “Hepatitis C” page, whereas everything looks good on our “Hepatitis B” page.

I’ve compared menu and module settings for the problem page and made them similar to the OK category pages.
I’ve unpublished several recent articles in that category. We’ve seen some formatting issues as a result of migrating older articles which have different styles of HTML formatting.
I’ve checked to make sure the sidebar modules for this page are activated.
We’ve resolved one part of our problem. The layout problems were caused by legacy HTML code that came with articles migrated from the older website. The article code had div and table tags that were messing up the overall layout of the category blog pages.
We are still trying to figure out why some articles repeat multiple times on certain category blog pages.
Actually we found the solution. We’re on 1.6 and the problem started after we linked one of the site user accounts to the admin account. Seems that the behavior was showing articles posted by that user a second time. It’s as though there’s a default user that all the articles are listed with, AND THEN articles associated with the admin-linked account were being listed the second time.
Issue Solved. We just unlinked that account from the admin account and the duplicate listings went away. Pretty obviously a 1.6 bug/glitch.
