I have replaced the image logo.gif, however the image logo on the top left corner don’t change. Can someone point me to the right way of replacing the logo image?

hi..

the logo needs to be replaced in the color folder you have selected.

if its the default blue you have selected then yes you will need to replace image in

templates/ja_mageia/images/logo.gif

now say if you have selected red color then u need to replace image in
templates/ja_mageia/images/red/logo.gif

I uploaded a new logo image called logo_300.png and replaced the file reference on template_css.css to:

h1.logo a {
width: 217px;
height: 48px;
display: block;
float: left;
text-decoration: none;
text-transform: uppercase;
outline: none;
text-indent: -4000px;
background: url(../images/logo_300.png) no-repeat;
}

.narrow h1.logo a {
width: 172px;
background: url(../images/logo_300.png) no-repeat;

Is that mean I can only use a GIF image and ranamed logo.gif?

I realized what I am doing wrong is the size of the file. I reduced the size and now id displaying.
