December 18, 2011 at 12:37 pm #171922hi all.
JA Rasite came with an image om a search module (though not functioning), nice if I can make it work :-). Anyway, I don’t need it for this mini site I am trying to make.
I would just like to replace this with an image I will make and upload. This image I would link to a contact page.
How do I do this? And how to i add the contact form into my new contact page?Thank you

December 18, 2011 at 3:37 pm #430250– You disable Search module.
– You create new custom HTML module, set position is Search with custom output like that
<a href="/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1">
<img src="your image url"/>
</a>
id=1 for contact has id is 1ninshen Developerninshen

December 19, 2011 at 3:02 pm #430380thank you very much Khoand.
really appreciate it. I will definitely give it a try.It can only be me, but now it’s like the 3rd time my Contact Menu disapeears from frontend. and it happens when I try to change the display settings of the menu. I really don’t know what causes it. Now I decided to link my contact menu to an article and it means more coding work because I need to add a contact form and newsletter module to it.
Also, when choosing a type of contact when making a Contact Page, one can choose for ex. “Contact Name here” from the list, but I can’t find it anywhere else if I want to modify it.
Kind regards,
Nenakhoand Friendkhoand

March 18, 2012 at 3:21 pm #444336Hi Khoand,
I am back to this 🙂
The Search modules is disabled. But after trying to create a custom HTML module and activate it,
it looks like the attached picture. The search bar is still displayed even though the module connected to it is deactivated.
I tried to delete it from the theme folder (thru FTP) but it still there….thank you
