if i wanted to replace a particular sections content with my own content from a component/module

how would i do this
eg

i dont need a google map in that section
but would like to have an event list instead which is a component for 2.5 with various mods and plugins

how do i replace the content?

ie suffix section id etc

Hi

That pages are custom-html modules linked to menu items through external urls ( index.php?Itemid=435#happy_clients ) with module id and module name ) and ordered in the module manager page as page order.

So if you need to change the map module with your module simply change the menu item link with new id and new name

i did read user guide, didnt quite understand the section creation process

so if i just create a module – set position to onepage position –
create a menu link-and order it with module id-

i dont need to create a new position in tv3?
which class suffix do i use or how to creat a new one for the new module?

the guide is useful …but it supposes a lot and the english is a tiny bit hard to follow

Ok

We can do in this way we will create a new module/page added at the end of the pages below the Map

1) Create a new module ( for example login module ) and assign it to the onepage position,after you created it, take the module id example id = 100
2) Goto your main menu –> click on new — > as menu item type choose external url and in the link field insert this index.php?Itemid=100#login

3) Goto Module manager and filter modules for onepage position you will see your new login module – change the order for it to the last you have in the Ordering column ( ex. GMap has the order number 10 then your login module will have the number 11 )

Save the order clicking on the Floppy icon

That’s it you don’t need to create a new position
