April 23, 2012 at 12:47 pm #449759Personally, I would use one of the many media plugins available from the JED or use the JCE editor. They make adding video a breeze with just a couple of clicks rather than creating an embed link.

July 20, 2012 at 5:00 am #461581Hi Mahoo, did you find the best way to place video in the today’s video?
Because using jCE editor doesn’t seem to be the only way to place. As I tried both from youtube and vimeo and no video appeared. Pls give an idea.

July 21, 2012 at 4:37 am #461687Hi there,
Today Video is a custom HTML module, please open HTML mode: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/603/2371552259.png and add embeded code of your video. Here are 2 example:
– Vimeo video as demo:
<p>
<object data="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=7421222&server=vimeo.com&color=333333&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="210" height="120"><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="src" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=7421222&server=vimeo.com&color=333333&fullscreen=1" /><param name="pluginspage" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=7421222&server=vimeo.com&color=33bbbb&fullscreen=1" /><param name="scale" value="noborder" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /></object></p>
-Youtube video:
<object width="210" height="120" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/NnD2n_NBGMg?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NnD2n_NBGMg?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object>
Regards.

July 27, 2012 at 7:03 am #462376Thanx Saguaros for advice. I put the given codes switching html mode and it works!:)
But I used to put codes generated via ‘share’ button under Youtube videos.
Generated HTML code was much shorter than yours, probably that was not enough (?)
Here is an example:<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TcLdtUHIkuk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
So if it was a merely wrong way to get the code, can you provide the right way to get html-code?

July 31, 2012 at 1:59 am #462631Hi there,
When you click embeded button, there are some options for you to choose code to embeded in your site, in my reply above I choose to use the old embed code:http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/612/5473612959.png
You can try with it.Regards.
