June 13, 2010 at 9:24 am #151761Hi,
Can anyone point out the blindingly obvious of how to get the menu styling as seen under category layout & Explore menus, which appear to have “sections” above the menu items? Can’t find it in any of the documentation and I’m not used to Joomlart templates, so it’s probably something really simple I’m missing.

June 25, 2010 at 8:11 pm #348133I am really struggling with your documentation link, it doesn’t explain it clearly at all!
I’ve managed to set up as it explains column 1, 2 and 3 but they are all displaying one on top of the other, rather than horizontally. I really can’t figure out what I’ve managed to get so absolutely wrong, I’ve got 3 colums set on the parent item, set the widths as per the documentation and also using the “submenu column width” but whatever I do it is appearing one on top of the other, rather than horizontally as per the demo.
I’ve attached the menu screentshot below.
Products and Browse By menu items are articles, I have another called “How to buy” which is set up as a separator to display a module, and it doesn’t even appear.
As a side note, none of my menu descriptions appear on the main menu either.
Just about ready to tear out the rest of my hair right now!

June 26, 2010 at 4:00 pm #348180Is anyone able to point out the obvious here? I am absolutely sure I followed the setup instructions step by step but I’m still getting one column rather than two. Can send login info if it would help.

June 29, 2010 at 10:42 am #348387Hiya,
I don’t use google chat but I have added you on skype.
I’ve even checked this against a quickstart installation of ja_ores and the menus are exactly the same so I’m not sure what is going on.
