February 18, 2010 at 1:32 am #148779JAzin is good for updating the menu, but it changes all articles to PUBLISH which drives me crazy. In the real world of magazines, you publish only a few of your many articles, and hold many for future publication. Going through and unpublishing them is difficult and very time consuming. It also puts articles online before they are ready.
Could we please have a button in JAzin to choose whether we want all articles changed to publish YES-NO. This would make JAzin much more useful.
Happy New Year

February 19, 2010 at 3:17 am #333099Hi melklein
With this plugin, we only create the magazine module according to sections and categories, we don’t do anything related to articles
Could you give me a category which is showing articles which you are disabling so that i could have a closer look on the issue?

February 19, 2010 at 3:40 am #333106I have 2 sections and several categories that I do not want added to the menus. These are sections where I’m holding articles for future publication. These sections/categories are never supposed to be published — they are “storage room” areas. One is called HOLD and I always click UNPUBLISH. But every time I run JAzin it publishes & places HOLD on my menu & the articles in it also (I’m not sure why – maybe I’m doing something wrong here). Is there a way to give us more control over what the plugin does, let us exclude sections & categories?
Thanks & Happy New Year

February 19, 2010 at 3:44 am #333107Hi melklein
in the case, you only unpublish items im magazine menu which you don’t want to display. I think it is easy to do it.
I will notice your idea to our developer for developing as soon as possible.
