Hi all, just signed up – so first message.

I have uploaded the Ja Mageia template to:

    http://www.pacific8.com/cms/

I have the setting stored from a previous template – how do I get the page and menu’s to look like the orginal template – is there a reset function to globally chnage the Joomla settings so I get the same layout as per the original theme?

    Many thanks!

Take a look at the user guide for JA Mageia on how to set it up, you need to install some modules, assign them to the specific position etc

Thanks, ended up doing a re-install of Joomla which cured it.

The only other thing I need help with is to change the footer. I’ve tried changing the code in index.php and footer.php, but cannot seem to change this – woudl also like to add some links in the footer section (e.g. privacy policy etc)

There is also a footer.php inside the template folder.
