In teline iv whenever the images are resized it has a large black background border. I’ve just looked all the other posts with similar issues but I could not find a solution that applies to teline iv.

    Any one can help?

here is the link of an image before resizing

here is the link of the same image after resize with black background on them

Any ideas how to control the resize to have transparency or white background?

Can you provide a link to a page within your site where this issue is occurring?

    Yes, off course:
http://www.windmillpost.com – you will see right in the front page lots of images with the black border. This page has articles where the images comes in all sizes and shapes.

I apologize – I forgot to ask . . . Please temporarily set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General Settings

I’ve just discovered a way around the situation:
I’ve changed the setting in the image handler of front page module from ‘Crop’ to ‘Resize’ and I’ve enter the width of the photo but not the height settings. The images now resize from the original one and there is no longer the black borders around it.

I still would like to know how to control the color that is picked in the ‘CROP’ function.

    Any thoughts on the subject??

    thanks
