I’m having an issue with one directory that was automatically created – which is suppose to happen.

The problem is the Permissions for this 1 (out of 9 directories) is fle(0755). I was able to update all the other directories to allow for image deletion/update but this one directory is locked. All I can do is rename it.

What would cause this and how can I delete it?

Try installing joomlaxplorer and set the permissions trough that.

If you do it like that it usually works. Let me know if that works out 🙂

I use to use joomlaxplorer all the time, specially with 1.0 but I’ve had zero luck with it lately.

I’ll try installing it and see if I can get it to work.

Thank you very much for the advice – much appreciated!

I had a similar issue and for the problem wasn’t the chmod values. I needed to change the user / group rights for the resized folder and recursively from there and now the images work just fine.
