    Hi
I have downloaded the JA Villadi template and started to setup my site but the instructions are next to useless and only seemed to be aimed at experienced users.

When I place content on a page which requires the page to be taller than the menus it does not stretch down – this only seems to happen in IE7 as Firefox is ok.
By clicking on the ‘Default Size’ button (top right) it sorts the problem.

    See here http://mantis-cl.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=13&Itemid=30

Also on the page I have created 3 BLOG type items and I want them to go 2 at the top and 1 below but it is showing 1 on top and 2 below – any ideas to why and how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance

For getting the 2 on top instead of the one, you have to go to the main page layout ( home ) and make changes in the settings there. Select 2 column view or play around to find/get the effect you want. Currently it is set to 1 leading article and then 2 column ( which is the default view )

But why would you want them in the image modules and also in the content??? Looks weird to have the same thing 2 times on the page I think.. 🙂

    Hi robkelley,

I am having the same problems – i am struggling to get the spotlight modules to even display the images im just getting code showing — how did you get them to work?

I agree on the instructions, for the spotlight bit i had to laugh at the “your-image-ID is your image’s ID” bit — but it seems to then go on to miss relevant parts.

i have just worked out that if you put a module into positions user7, user8 and user9 that solves the problem. Without them you get that text overflow. I notice on your site they are missing — they are the bottom 3 – have a look at the demo site.

    Any help would be great

    Thanks.

Thanks for that, I put the ‘banner’ in user7 and now it seems ok.
As for the code your showing – you have to edit the HTML and modify the code there and not on the editor directly. (click on the ‘HTML’ button when editing.)
