I have just Re-installed JA-METHYS. I did a clean install of the quickstart packagel, It was easier for me to go this route, than to go through the step by step process of upgrading from Joomla 1.7 to 2.5.

I now notice importing images into articles I have no options to set the resource type. I cannot access server to view images from within the article. I have to copy and paste the exact url of the image.

Before this upgrade I could access media image files within the article, view and select images. Is this a 2.5 upgrade issue?

Hi,
This sounds like a settings issue with your editor and the folders that an editor should search about the images etc.
Can you please let me know in which folder you store your images ?
like -> /joomla root/images ?

Images are stored in the stories folder. Also in the template settings, I am unable to change the default development mode settings. Something keeps overiding my changes.

SOLVED! In the editor settings, I change a setting to:”use user folder”. Thanks for letting me know where to look
