    Hi,

I’ve set up a site using JA Elastica. Modfied it a bit regarding graphics. And I must say thank you so much for sharing this. I love it.

On this particular site I want to use a slider that’s also responsive. I’ve tried without luck. It seams to be conflicts between the masonry.js and other .js needed to get a sexy slider working.

I’ve tried to implement Flexislider (http://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/) and Blueberry (http://marktyrrell.com/labs/blueberry/) without luck. I also found a module for Joomla from LoF (Land of Coder).

I dont know what was wrong with the LoF module, but the images didn’t show. I blame that 100% on that module.

But when trying the other solutions the columns lost their fluid effect and just placed themselves on the bottom of the page, even when it appears to be enough space. Checked quite a lot with Firebug, trying to see if there was something with the CSS. Couldn’t find anything though.

Anyone had the same kind of troubles? Found any solutions?

    Hi celius,

That’s kind of conflicting between javascript library, I think it’s hard to give you a significant advice without seeing the problem,if possible you should post here your url where the issue can be seen.

Same mission here. Have you tried out any Joomla extensions?

Yes. I tried the one I found that was to be responsive. It glitched quite much so I removed it.

I’ve been of this task for a while now, but I need to get it done. Maybe we should put our heads together to find a way to make it work?

What have you tried this far?

Well… what I just did was put Frontpage Slideshow (by JoomlaWorks) in the content block ( 2 grids ) but just haven’t gotten it to work with mobile devices.

<blockquote>Better image compression on both desktop and mobile browsers with the integration of the Sencha.io Src service. This can lead to up to 50% image size reduction and mobile optimized serving of images when your site is viewed in mobile browsers on iPhone/iPad/Android etc.</blockquote>
