I’m trying to set some of my main menu items to display to register users only. When I set the menu item to registered, the item is no longer available to the public display but the items are not displaying to the registered users either…

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello,

I have checked your site and apply with main menu Start Walk to registered user and it working Fine.

First goto admin access -> menus -> Main menu ->Start Walk -> Access ->set to – Registered -> save -> JAT3 Clean Cache

and you can see Main menu Start walk working only for registered user.

This you can apply for other main menu items.

Sorry but your assement is wrong! I have attached an screen shot of the main page where the test “superuser” is logged in. Notice the annotations made to indicate the diffenences between the top navigation bar and the main menu module placement at position “left”…

Thanks for the assitance… I really appreciate any help that can get this resolved…!

I have provided login information to miller-time.net… This could have been done on your own servers with a vanilla copy of the quickstart. This issues is reproducable 100% of the time on an initial install.

Nothing has been changed for this install for the excetion of the “Example Pages” menu item which is set to be accessed by “Registered” users.

    Hi Miller Tyme!

I have checked your site and seen that when I log in the example pages, menu appears, when I log out it disappears. This menu works well.

I see that this ticket has been closed… What is the fix for the still obvious issue? ( #SBN-455-80272)

Sorry for that, the ticket was automatically closed after 3 days with no response and reopened when you made new post.

I have compared with our demo and seen our demo works well. This maybe T3 issue in your site. Please try upgrading T3 to the latest version to check if it helps first. Thanks.

I have the exact same problem, I cannot figure this out there is definitely a problem with the horizontal (Main menu) and restricted access.. can someone please take a look and let me know what is wrong ?

Firstly I do not want to show main menu in the left module position I only what the top horizontal main menu, with certain areas of the main (horizontal menu) restricted to certain access groups or levels etc..

    Regards
    Baz
