Hello, I just have reintalled the LARIX template but i got a restricted access messaje after i0ve edited the index.php….. What about my database? It’s a lot of work…

Which index.php file did you edit? And whats the excact error message you get?
First i try to make a change to the index.php file in the /templates/ja_larix folder.
At a second time I’ ve installed the quick start (decompress the zip file and restore the config.php file) and I still have the same message:Restricted access
And now when I try to go to the backend i get those beautiful things:

Third: i’m thinking to erase al the files and restart with a new instalation (“quick start” or Joomla 1.0.13 + VirtueMart + JA LARIX template or joomla 1.5RC3 + VirtueMart + JA LARIX template?).
My point is to not lose the database because I’ve got my products there…

I think your language file is missing for the error nr 2 there, for the error nr 1: Do you have a live url?By pm or here if you can.
I change the language as you told me and i rebuild the database and it’s OK…
