December 9, 2007 at 3:35 am #234214Hi webface!
I haven’t gona anywhere NEAR 1.5 yet so can’t really help, but I’m wondering if you have the same problem with any other templates?
Try to get another template from JoomlArt to work and failing that try one of the free ones that are out there.
I don’t really know what this will tell you, but it’s a way to narrow down the possibilities 🙂
Finally for my part, have you tried over at foum.joomla.org?
This sub-forum is dedicated to 1.5 Templates entirely – someone there might also be able to help.
Good luck and remember to let us know how you get on! 🙂
December 9, 2007 at 3:57 am #234220I got the install to work by starting from scratch and installing on 1.0 The problem I have now is the layout is screwy. If you have a chance to visit and click on blog for example, if you scroll down, you’ll notice that the white background deosnt go to the bottom of the page and the footer is misplaced in the body. Do you have any idea what could be wrong. I’m far from a joomla expert and fiddling with things I dont understand too much might demand I re-install all over again.
December 9, 2007 at 3:06 pm #234246Hi again!
Well done on getting the template to behave – did you say that this was running on Joomla! 1.5?
I looked at the site in Firefox and it all looked OK. Which browser are you using?
Again, I can’t see a problem with the footer, which tells me that if you’re using IE it’s all Microsoft’s fault – hehehe!
I checked it in IE6 and it appeared to be OK also.
By footer, did you mean the ‘More…’ section, or the copyright info?
You might already know, but in the admin section if you select ‘Site > Preview > In-line with Positions’ it will show you the module positions available for your chosen template.
Hope this helps and good luck! 😉
