I want to add the resumes module, but restrict the information shown in there – example would be just location, Job Catagory.
Also when an employer registers and clicks on the link to search resumes I get a page saying they must buy credits first – Great this is exactly what I want, but if the click on a user in the resumes module they can view the resume, see there CV, email them – How do i restrict this, without switching the module off.
I want some way of employers seeing a teaser of the resume without seeing all the information.
Also How Can I Style the menu that shows up in the mod_jajobboard_menu the same as other menus that I have in a module position.
Currently It shows up as a bulleted list. I have tried adding in a menu class suffix of list, but this doesn’t work. Thanks in advance.

1. I want to add the resumes module.
– You can download and install JALastestResume Module via: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=5152. Also when an employer registers and clicks on the link to search resumes I get a page saying they must buy credits first
– You can go to the /administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jasubscriptions AND /administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=japermission to learn more information about this.3. I want some way of employers seeing a teaser of the resume without seeing all the information.
– You can go to the: /administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jafieldlist4. How Can I Style the menu that shows up in the mod_jajobboard_menu the same as other menus that I have in a module position.
– You can download and install latest JAJobBoardMenu Module to support your require by Module configuration (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=514)JA JobBoard Team.
August 13, 2010 at 12:34 pm #352616I have checked using JA Extensions Manage and my Job board and all modules are of the latest versions.
Problem 1 – When a logged in employer views resumes in the resume module they can view all resume details regardless of wether they have credits or not.
I would like this give the employer a little information and if they want the full resume then they need to purchase credits.Problem 2 – There is no option to restrict certain information in the resume module.
Problem 3 – Again I am using latest version of templates ( using zeolite ii) and JAJobBoardMenu, yet menu shows up as bulleted list when logged in. I would prefer this to be styled as the main menus in zeolite.
What is the menu and module class suffix i need to use?Andy

The support Guy have sent me this which i wanted to share on the forum along with my thoughts.
<blockquote>1. Employer view resume.
>> You can set the permission for Employer by default(Can view resume list or resume details) when registering on your job system via: administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jasubscriptions2. There is no option to restrict certain information in the resume module.

I have already set permissions so that employers cant see resumes, unless they sign up for a package!
This resume module makes me feel angry. I use another job board style component which is very basic, doesn’t have the ability to charge employers, job seekers, etc, but there modules work correctly.
Why is there a resume module in Job Board if we cant restrict what is shown in the module & Moreover, what is the point of the module. If when an Employer registers and logs in they can see all the details of the resume via the resume module, without first purchasing credits or a package ?????
I know I can just disable the module completely, but I really want it showing up on my site with teaser information, hopefully enticing employers to sign up to find out more about the resumes in the site.
Any one else have any thoughts on this or ideas on how to get around this problem.
Maybe JA can look to redevelop the Resume module so that it has parameters to work in this way.

December 9, 2010 at 5:21 am #365909Has the resume module been fixed to accommodate this feature request, or does it still freely shows resume details regardless of other settings?

December 9, 2010 at 8:02 am #365933Dear sharpdome
We are implementing feature that will allow registering users to choose Subscription package in Registration Form.
Subscription package will allow to config: Price, Duration, Permissions (include: view resume list, view resume details).
All will come with JAJobBoard 1.5.1 in the end of this December.
