My template has been modified to fit my site, but I’m having the hardest time getting the right column to line up next to the mainbody, not under it. The red border on the screenshot belows is refering to the div tag, so I’m not sure why the “Who’s Online” module is not placed next to the mainbody.
I’ve played around with all the mainbody widths, rightcol widths, and the overall width of the contentpage, still nothing.
Any ideas why the right column is appearing below my main content area??

September 7, 2007 at 8:56 am #229026The most common reason for such a behaviour is that there is something inside the module or the main content area that is to wide. Could be an image or a URL that is unbreakable for the browser. Sometimes this happens in every browser and sometimes only in IE6. But as Menalto said, without viewing it it is hard to tell what it is exactly.

Try to change this in the template_css.css file(on line 1068)
#ja-mainbody {
float:left;
width:70%;

September 17, 2007 at 6:08 pm #229574Yes, menalto is right. The width of the “mainbody” container has been changed by someone. Just compare the part in the CSS with the original version. Maybe you have to change more than what Menalto proposed.
From your posting I understand that you offer your service to clients, but rely on other peoples knowledge with template changes. To avoid such situation like now you should really learn some CSS basics. It´s really easy 😉Bernhard

Or hire someone to help you out with it;)
September 17, 2007 at 11:57 pm #229591That is rediculous…you don’t know how many times I’ve messed with those width percentages…I might have been out of it.
Thanks guys! Maybe I should hire somebody 😉
