I’ve been trying to hone my skills at theming the new Fireboard component. This is my third theme and I thought I’d give a little something back to Joomlart, who has served me so well for so long.
Introducing “Rochea on Fire”
This theme *ONLY* works with Joomlart’s Rochea template and Fireboard 1.01 beta (1.0.0 does not work). Some of the images are linked to the Rochea install folder. I did this because I do not own these images, but I wanted to give Rochea users a look and feel of integration. This template has also only been tested on the English version of Fireboard. You can see a demo of this template at: http://demo.megaforcefive.com/ and select rochea_on_fire from the FB Template Chooser on the forum page.
Or you can download it here:
rochea_on_fire_1.0.1a.zipBe sure to see the README file before installing.

June 2, 2007 at 1:52 am #221360I do not use multi-lingual sites myself, so I am not sure what the diffrerence is exactly. My templates are designed for the English version of Fireboard and I have only tested them on such. You may want to try asking for assistance in the Language Specific section of Best of Joomla’s support forums. I am sorry I cannot be of more assistance…i just don’t haven an experience with other language versions.
June 2, 2007 at 2:08 am #221364Thanks again for your amiability.
Dont worry about the lenguaje, have to question, i want to eliminate the right and left column on the fireboard forum page, and leave only the forum in one column.
Also when you explain in the advance setting that need to edit smile.php, message.php, post.php etc etc. I just instaled fireboard and copy the blue… that i donwlaoaded from your link and it works fine, however there are many files that i have them in my local fireboard folder that i dont see them in the com_fireboard directory of the online serve. Like admin.fireboard.html, admin.fireboard.php, fireboard.xml, fb_cpanel.php bb_adm.js should copy them to the directory components/com_fireboard/?????’
as i told you if you go to http://caracas.tv/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=0
you will see that the forum is working and i can post messasges and register user, but may be all those files that i mentioned are missing on the server are important, i hope i am clear and you understand what i mean. This is very important for my site i appreciate your help.

June 2, 2007 at 2:15 am #221365You need to unpublish modules specifically for that component in each of the module properties that appear on that page.
Regarding the missing files, they are all important. It is possible something got messed up in during the install. It is possible it will work to copy the files manually, but other portions forum may not work.
This is not the best place to be asking these questions. These problems do not have to do with JA Rochea, but with the Fireboard Component. Support for the component can be found here:

June 2, 2007 at 2:59 am #221369I understand about the placef or the questions and sorry if I went away of rochea s issues.
I think it is very important for this templates to complement with this tools.
I finish my questions and hope it is usefull for other members.
Good Job james and all moderators here in the forum
I am very happy with the joomlart club
regards
