April 23, 2013 at 4:18 pm #187024Hi,
i use the mero template for a multilanguage site with joomfish and k2. Therefor i have a problem with the fonts used – because some of the romanian types get displayed “like bold” as you can see here:
If i check the Google Fonts “Open Sans” than the problem does not occure. Maybe the files included in the joomlart-template-package are outdated. Hope you can solve this for the romanian peoples out there.
The second problem focuses on the interaction between the joomlart template mero and joomfish. As you can see online the site works as designed because we used the non seo-searchengin-friendly setting in main settings.
We want to use the seo-friendly urls but than the site shows #404. with the beez-template everything works. Maybe there is a simple solution within the template.
beste regards

April 29, 2013 at 2:21 am #491263Hi pressmar,
1. For the font site, did you solve it? I can see it looks fine.
2. I tried to enable SEF links in your site but I didn’t experience the same like you, when viewing every page, it shows well. Could you tell me which page has that 404 error?

April 29, 2013 at 9:28 am #491341Hi Saguaros,
thanks you for your support. No the font problem is still there. As you can see on the screenshot some special characters are looking like they are bold.
The SEF links are working now. I didn’t change anything but maybe the joomla updates did some cure 😉
Just one additional question. As you can see i have added a module position for the language selector. In which file are the locations defined for tablets or iphone size. Because in this views the position doesn’t get displayed.
Furthermore the text of the home screen slideshow disapears in the iphone vertical look.As you can see if you scroll the logo and the menu are fixed but in you scroll the text down, there are little space between this position where the content is visible.
Maybe you have an idear for that too i really would appreciate it.
thanks oliver

May 3, 2013 at 2:18 am #491740Hi Oliver,
– Could you post url of page where I can see that bold text? (aslo switch Optimize css in template manager off)
– You can find template-responsive file, if you are using development mode, it should be file: template-responsive.less, otherwise template-responsive.css. For customization, you should put your custom css code in file: /templates/css/custom.css.
– The new feature of sticky and off-canvas navigation is implemented into T3 framework so that the logo and the menu are fixed. What text in slideshow are you mentioning? Is it slideshow’s description? In mobile view, the description should not be displayed.
Regards

May 3, 2013 at 4:03 pm #491824Hi Oliver,
Hi,
Thank you for your response. I hope I can assist you with following details:– Could you post url of page where I can see that bold text? (aslo switch Optimize css in template manager off)
I switched of the optimizing system. As you can see in the character screenshot attached and live in the site here:
http://test.pressmar.de/sis/index.php/ro/misiunea-noastra
Almost any special character is displayed in that bold way.– You can find template-responsive file, if you are using development mode, it should be file: template-responsive.less, otherwise template-responsive.css. For customization, you should put your custom css code in file: /templates/css/custom.css.
Ok, I already found that file and the logic @media ….. Maybe it would be a good thing to mention anywhere in the t3 documentation how the responsive design.css works.
– The new feature of sticky and off-canvas navigation is implemented into T3 framework so that the logo and the menu are fixed. What text in slideshow are you mentioning? Is it slideshow’s description? In mobile view, the description should not be displayed.
It is really cool, that the menu and logo are fixed. I love that option. The problem is that if I scroll down – in the gap between the logo and the language selector and the menu and search line normal content appears as it scroll. The has to be a gap maybe. The slideshow description topic I solved myself. I wanted the slideshow description to be displayed. I found the section in the template-responsive.css and overridden it I also changed the logo size and the text size for the description in the template-responsive.css. Here I have a other question. Is it possible the make this changes I made in the template-responsive.css file in the custom.css file. So it didn’t get deleted during next update.
Is it possible to have the @media (min-width: 980px) and (max-width: 1199px) logic in the custom.css?
