June 15, 2009 at 8:15 am #141930What is the best way to make images with the round edges which are needed for the template (see example). Does it have a transparent background?

June 15, 2009 at 8:32 am #307938There are loads of ways to do this. If all your images are the same size then you could use an overlay. If you are happy with the effect being applied live as the page is rendered there are loads of javascript tools that will do this.
Me, I prefer to do them in photoshop before hand. It takes a few seconds and you can even set up a batch process if you have lots of images of the same size to do. It is also more efficient for your webpage to do it this way.
You can find out how to do all of these with a quick google so I won’t go into how to do each on here.

June 16, 2009 at 5:22 am #308046Thanks for your answer. Turned out it was actually very simple using The Gimp. There is a function that makes …. round edges. Thanks for your reply. You gave me some directions 🙂
