I am working very hard on modifying this template on a Mac, but when I ran into the css3 css, I noticed that only rounded corners and shadow have been defined for browsers other than IE 7 & 8. Also, css3 support has been taken out of the latest Opera version. This leaves only Firefox and Safari where rounded corners are visible using webkit.

I cannot test it now, but I would like to know if rounded corners and such are visible in IE? This is very important, as 80% of the visitors use IE and I want them to have the real design.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hello Tom!

As you know, the template is using the css3 for making rounded corners for block in the layout, they works perfect, Opera, FireFox, Safari, Chrome,.. and on IE they will not have the rounded conner, in your case , you have to customize the template to take a same look on all browsers, you can refer to the guide to make the rounded conner in best way: http://www.devwebpro.com/25-rounded-corners-techniques-with-css/

    Hi Tienhc,

    Thanks for responding.

I agree that it works in other browsers, but not in IE 7, IE 8 and Opera. This means that 80% of the visitors won’t see the corners. I am surprised that developers code rounded corners just for those 20%. They are not that relevant, compared to the other 80%. Don’t you agree? 😉

Thanks for the rounded corner tutorials. With a lot of editing I could do it with divs, but my point is that JA has coded it for Ja Social, why not use that for the rest of the rounded corner templates? That surprises me.

    Thanks,
    Tom
