As is i’ve written in this 3D, rs2gallery doesn’t work as it should do.

I’ve downloaded last version of ja_avaian_ii, i’ve installed rs2gallery component, i’ve configurated it as in ja_avian_II quickstart, i’ve inserted 8 example images, i’ve setted ja_semantic template, and i’ve created the rs2gallery menù link.

but when i clik on the above menu, slideshow feature (i’m speaking about rs2gallery features, not of mod_ja_rsslide …) DOES NOT WORk… nothing happens…

PLEASE HELP ME!

P.S.:
i’m using joomla 1.5.3, and server linux-apache2.0. base template: ja_teline_II.

Can you send your URL ?
Why dont you install quickstart Avian ii, then install teline 2 template ?

Hi, i can’t send my url yet, because my website is set to offline yet.
Installing before avian2 quickstart and then teline2 could be a solution, but only to isolate and define the “problem”.
In final version i would use clean installaion, without examples dates…
Now i try to install teline2 template in my local (xampp 1.6.6a software) Hard Disk and i’ll controll if it so work 🙂

i did as u suggest.

Installed quickstart ja_avian_2 (already did) and installed ja_teline_2 (right now).
If i set as default template ja_teline_2 (in quickstart ja_avian_2 installation) , slideshow doesn’t work.
Instead, if i set as defualt template ja_avian_2 (in his own quickstart installation) it works good.

Hi
You must edit something, open index.php(templates/ja_teline_ii)
Search this line:

<!-- Menu head -->
Change to

<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl();?>/slimbox/js/slimbox.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl();?>/slimbox/css/slimbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
<!-- Menu head -->

And copy slimbox folder from templates/ja_avian_ii/ to templates/ja_teline_ii

I tested on my localhost and everything is okie

i’ve done what u said.

i’ve added the code in the index.php ofa teline2 template.
i’ve pasted the folder (with subfolder containing css and js) slimbox into teline2 template from ja_avian_2 template folder.

Result: slimbox start, but no image is showed… (and i’ve have 2 galleries…)

ah i have to underline:
i did what u said in a ja_teline_2 clean installation because i do not want have any quickstart as base installation.
so please tell me what other i’ve to do to get rs2gallery slimbox working thx! 🙂

Go to Components-> Rsgallery 2-> Control Panel menu, then choose Templates manager

OK i isolated the problem:
slimbox cannot show images with spaces in its name.

for example:
“image 1.jpg” -> images not showed into slimobx.
“image_1.jpg” -> images showed into slimbox.

it’s a strange things… i’ve tried any others galleries and this “iusse” has been never appeared…
