hi,
i have a problem in the backend of RSgallery2:

in the original RSGallery, there is a mouseover function in the uploaded images lists, which displays a preview and is important at locating a specific image.

at the modified RS gallery, which comes with Avian II, this image isnt displayed but a html tag instead (e.g. <img src=”/path/path/image.jpg”>)

how can this important feature be fixed?

You might want to check RSGallery 2 forum at http://rsgallery2.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=17. This would not be a JoomlArt template problem.

in my experience it is a problem of the modified rsgallery from the avian II template, because i tried also to install the original rsgallery (actual version) from rsgallery homepage it self, and with in that package, that problem doesnt appear, it simply works out of the box (but instead there are compatiblity issues with the avian modules., etc..)..

This is not a problem from midified rsgallery but from the component when running with Joomla 1.0x. If you install the component on a fresh joomla 1.0x, you still get the same problem.

which component are you talking about?

the RS gallery 2, which comes with the avian II package is a component, isnt it?
as said: i did install an original RSgallery on the same avian II site, im currently building, and with the original RS gallery package, the mouse overs work out of the box.

so, the must be a bug in .. where?
the rsgallery component you provided and modified?
since this is a backend problem, that must be the answer, doesnt it have to?

are there any news?
did you look into the problem, perhaps did a test by yourself like installing an original RS Gallry component and see, that the mouseovers in the backend administration are not displaying a html tag, like in the modified version, which comes with AVIAN II, but actually an image?
please advise..

I’ve install a clear joomla 1.0.15 and install original Rs gallery component, and upload some images, and I only see html tab as Aivian II quickstart, that isn’t a error of Joomlart. Plz check again or print screen your site.

please look at my first post, there is a screenshot attached. in original rs gallery it did work instantly (instead of the yellow area, there should be a preview image itself…). i invested my time and tried it, as reported.

kaeau — Okay, I have looked at this post many times now. I have never been able to access your site http://www.ninc.at. Is it up all the time or do you have it on a test enviornment?

I want see the screen what have preview image as you said,not the screen of quick start, and what version of joomla, rsgallery do you use ? Because i used joomla 1.0.15 and rs gallery 1.14.3 and i only see html tab, not see preview image as you said.
