    Both the RSS link and captcha do not load on first visit in both Safari and Chrome. I am using the newest version of this component and you have to refresh the page in order for the captcha to work :confused:

    In IE and Firefox they work fine. This seems to be a bug in chrome and safari only

    Hi Jamjodesign,

    I already rechecked this in my machine and they still work fine with both Chrome and Safari browsers so that could you please give us your site url and admin account for closer look.

    I have sent a private message to you now with required details. Basically you need to click both the captcha image and the RSS image in order for them to show up. I have tried this on multiple machines and browsers and it only effects chrome and safari and only on first load after clearing the cache.

    By the way this happens in both the default and light css layouts of this component.

    I am already using the version 1.0.1 and also the newest version of JA comment. I see from your download page that the newest version of JA ores is 1.0.1 released on the 27 of march and this is the one I have – I only uploaded this 4 days ago!

    Any news with this subject, any fix?

    I also have a problem with the RSS, when i click it there is a system error message with the following:

    * Model class jacommentModelJafeeds not found in file.

    Error creating feed file, please check write permissions.

    What file? What write permissions? Everything seems correct to me.

    Also the captcha image doesn’t load, there’s only a button with the label Captcha and when i hover it, the php wait animation shows up but nothing happens, not even reloading the page, nothing.
    The following error shows up in Firebug:
    “NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jacomment&task=displaycaptchaaddnew

    What could be causing this?

    I’m using the latest Joomla, JA Social template and latest JAComments 1.0.9, please help, i don’t know how to fix it.

    Dear ajbpalma77,

    @error creating feed file, please check write permissions.
    Kindly check write permission in folder: com_jacommentviewsjafeedsfeeds. If you can’t see folder feeds please create new.
    @captcha image doesn’t load

    Thank you nghiatd,

    RSS is working now, i just added the directory. I don’t know why it wasn’t there in the first place. :((

    About the captcha, when i click the link you sent it just gives me “invalid ticked ID”.

    Anyway i don’t have an FTP account, i use SFTP with Putty for server core changes and all else internal is through Ninjaexplorer, a nice extension.
    I can create an account for you to investigate what’s going on, using Firebug and this extension. I don’t know if it will be enough.

    Please luse your registered email and password to login this helpdesk system via http://support.joomlart.com >> then view the submitted tickets >> then find ticketID#XIC-789-48313 >> fill your admin account there or create a new ticket then fill all your credentials data for further check.
