June 21, 2012 at 4:01 pm #178387After installing JA Wall, my RSS Feed stopped working (not the Social Feed plug-in). When I access the RSS Feed, the view is empty and does not display anything. If I access “View Source” on my web page (http://urbanswankblog.com/blog), and click on the RSS link in the code, I can see the RSS Feed. I have gone through and disabled plugins to see if that was causing this problem, and this didn’t fix anything. Please advise.

June 23, 2012 at 3:18 am #458549I ran the same two tests and did have the same results:
1. Viewed in XML format and worked as expected.
2. Viewed via Google Reader and worked as expected. However, when I attempted to subscribe to the feed directly from my website (using the RSS buttons on the top right hand corners of the categories) via IE or Firefox, nothing displays. Please see the attachments. Feedburner, IE, and Firefox are not working.

June 23, 2012 at 4:36 am #458559Hi mbs2008,
Have you made any other change recently?
I see that your description contains a ‘&’ character, it may cause invalid xml validation.“Urban Swank is a Houston, Texas based food experience company & blog dedicated to bringing a wealth of information and a different perspective on all things food! We showcase restaurant reviews, foodie events, houston happy hours, houston brunch spots, restaurant specials, special dinners, chef features, the best of, restaurant openings, recipes, product recommendations, and much more!”
Can you please provide me access information to your site? Please send it via pm.
Regards

June 23, 2012 at 4:04 pm #458611Okay, I updated the “&” to “and” and that totally worked!!! Thanks so much.
When I migrated from Kranos to JA Wall, I just coped the site description over. I guess this does not work with JA Wall. Either way, it is working now. Thanks again.

June 23, 2012 at 6:47 pm #458614One FYI…although I am not currently using it, if you activate the Lazyload plugin, the pictures via the RSS feeds (including Google Reader) are not displaying. I could use it if it was not doing this, but my RSS feeds are important.

June 25, 2012 at 3:43 am #458662Hi mbs2008,
I am sorry but this is a trade off.
You have to disable Lazyload plugin for displaying image in RSS Feed.Regards
