Hi, does anyone here know of there is a good way to get different RSS feeds into the right side of the template instead of the news articles in the side news on position-7 ?

You can try on a RSS reader module which allows you to display the feeds on the front-end. You can refer at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/social-web/social-display/rss-readers

Hello, thank you for the reply.. I think I was a bit to vague… I was thinking of getting the RSS into the same look and feel that the side news module is supplying. I know about the rss readers in general 🙂

Our JA Sidenews module just supports to display the articles/items from Joomla content and K2 component only, not feeds 🙂
