June 4, 2008 at 12:33 pm #251892If I understand you, you want to show some external news (ie from another site) in your content? Correct me if I am wrong.
To solve this problem, you will have to find some component which is able to do this, like for example rss Factory 1.5.3 or you can use modules:
Thick RSS Browser 2.2 or Slick RSS or some others
If you decide to use module but to show it in content instead of some module postion, use mambot for calling:
1. make new module position in your template manager, and named it, ie “RSS”,
2. publish your new, installed RSS module on previously created position,
3. make new article for frontpage and just type in content area: {mosloadposition RSS}Don’t forget that you have to install module before anything else.

June 5, 2008 at 8:08 am #252103I would have added more module positions in the index.php and published the rss module in each position i needed a feed in. This way you have more control over position etc.

June 5, 2008 at 9:02 am #252120Are you using joomla 1.5 or 1.0.xx?
No,it does not matter, make a zip file of your index.php of the template instead and attach it here.tempusserbia Friendtempusserbia

June 5, 2008 at 9:08 am #252122It seems that you can not load module in that JA News flash module, but only in content, look the picture bellow:
but as you can see: in content it reads RSS feeds from NFL.
And if you click on Read More, you will see links.
