    Hi all,

    I am starting to RtLizing JA NEX and the first thing to do is to modify the position and the width (inverting) of sl1-1, sl1-2 & sl1-3.

    http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#joomla17-templates.joomlart.com/ja_nex

    Where I can access this?

    Thanking you in advance.

    You login backend > extensions > template manager > ja_nex > layout tab > edit default layout > replace the code

    <block name="topsl1" type="spotlight" special="left" specialwidth="50" main-inner="1" >sl1-1,sl1-2,sl1-3</block>
    with

    <block name="topsl1" type="spotlight" special="left" specialwidth="50" main-inner="1" >sl1-3,sl1-2,sl1-1</block>

    Thank you khoand, I noticed this first modification and it could be changed by inverting the position of elements from s1 to s3 in module manager

    However, how to change the width of sl1-1 and sls-3 as this is the most important question.

    You change the code

    specialwidth="50"

    However, how to change the width of sl1-1 and sls-3 as this is the most important question.

    You change the code

    specialwidth="50"
    Reference:
    Expression: <block name=”top-spotlight” type=”spotlight” special=”left” specialwidth=”25″>user1,user2,user3,user4,user5</block>
    Purpose: – this will override the default 20% width for a single position within the layout, it could be the one in the right side, it could be the one in the left side, but let’s examine these parameters closer:
    special=”left” – this defines where is the module we want to use the custom width: left or right
    specialwidth=”25″ – this defines the new width value for this module within the spotlight block.

    Many thanks,

    I thought to change “left” to “right” in the expression and it works very fine!

    I understand now the philosophy of this positioning… Many thanks my friend. I will continue to RtLize the template 🙂

    Keep tuned…
