October 7, 2013 at 5:30 pm #191206I have some issues with Nexus7/ v1 and v2
Vertical:
The menu icon is not appearing: it should be in the top and on the right side of the screen…
Horizontal:
The logo interferes with the articles and it is far from the menu on top of it.
Moreover, the right/left/up/down button touch articles…
My website: http://www.makanez.net
Thanking you in advance
Ara

October 8, 2013 at 7:30 am #508341Hi Ara,
I’m sorry but I don’t have Nexus to check this issue, I also tried to use some responsive design test tool (web-based) but it looks good.

October 8, 2013 at 4:48 pm #508394Hi Saguaros,
Thank you, could you tell me with which responsive design test tool you did your test?
Anyway, as you can see the menu in the vertical position does not appears.
I will put on tomorrow the snapshot with a professional responsive design test tool also…
Thanking you in advance.

October 9, 2013 at 1:44 am #508410Dear Ara,
I often use http://www.responsinator.com/ or http://www.pikock.com/en/piresponsive-app
Could you send me your favorite tool so that I can check?

October 9, 2013 at 5:36 am #508440Thanks again,
With http://www.pikock.com/ you can see the problem in the vertical orientation for the RTL version.
Actually, this issue comes from the template and when you find the solution it should be included in the next version of your template (RTL) version.
With http://www.responsinator.com/ you can see the problem in the horizental orientation for the RTL version in Kindle landscape 1024 x 600
Thanking you in advance.

October 9, 2013 at 7:25 am #508449For the first issue, I will report to dev team for further checking.
With Kindly landscape, you can use media jQuery to add specific rule:
.span12.pull-right.logo-image {
margin-top: -22px;
}
into file: /templates/ja_smashboard/css/custom.css (if this fie doesn’t exist, you can create it)

October 12, 2013 at 10:31 pm #508826Thanks Saguaros,
1. Doing that for a horizontal orientation I got problems with the logo in the vertical/some horizontal orientations (compare Kindle portrait/landscape).
http://www.responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.makanez.net%2F
2. I still have to move down rows under the articles as they touch the bottom of these articles (cf. Kindle landscape)…
3. I think the best solution is to put the logo on the right side of these 4 upper icons (in the horizontal orientation) and not under them, otherwise it will be a continuous problem for some devices.
If you would like that I try this solution please post the code that I should modify…
Thanking you in advance.
PS. I noticed the problem is also with the LTR version of the template:
http://www.responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.up-magazine.info%2FI think now the solution from JA should be global
