We have notice that at times images on the s3 server will appear as broken or missing images on the site. This seems to be cause by the last part of the url to s3 image.

For example. Today, the image http://dreconnect.s3.amazonaws.com/photos/155/22/thumb_3e89825734d15a3efa50a3b7.jpg is showing as a missing image. But when you click the link, it is there. However the link listed in the source of the page is: http://dreconnect.s3.amazonaws.com/photos/155/22/thumb_3e89825734d15a3efa50a3b7.jpg?javer=1109120838. Remove the ?javer=1109120838 using inspect element in chrome and the image appears.

What exactly is the ?javer=#### on the s3 images? Why would this cause an issue with images missing?

This behavior will also affect even our site logos in the upper left corner.

    Any suggestions to prevent this?

    Hi wincek!
Can you tell me the version number of the S3 Amazon you are using as well as verifying all else on the site is the most recent version, regardless of the developer.
    Thanks!

I am having the same issue, I just installed the component w/ version: 2.0.2 and using Joomla 1.5.23

Here is the site without using Amazon:

and here it is using the Amazon Component:

    1. wo-amazon
    2. w-amazon

    Hi wincek!
Did you upload all images to S3 bucket?
When loading css file from S3, the images (are loaded in css file) will be loaded from S3 too (relative path with css file).
So that, if they are uploaded, they will be missed on your site.
