Ja Teline II has been installed on my site for a while now with no problems. Then the site began to get an internal server error and the site would not come up at all. I have switched templates and the site came back up. I really liked the Ja Teline template and all of my information was tailored to it – I have no idea how to fix it or even really know what the problem with the template is. any ideas what it could be? I’m a novice so I’m really stumped.

Hi caprice007. I had this problem earlier this week. In my case, it turned out to be a Joomla bug, not a template problem.

It appears that if you try to make changes to the Global Config file in the back end, then click ‘Save’ the entire contents of my config.php file were wiped out! This gave me the Internal Server Errors. I went to the last backup, replaced the old config.php file and site was back to normal.

Not sure if this is what happened in your case!
