    Ok after pressing the compatabillity view button in ie9 the problem has gone away…..is there a code combatability code for 1.7 which can be inserted into the head as there used to be when explorer 8 came out?

    Phil,
    You go into your index.php and add the code in the area I have shown. Between the head tags.

    Blaine the code worked a treat bUt to find where to put it….arggggghhhhh

    To locate the head section of my template Go to plugins then system then jat3 then jat3 inside that then base templates then default folder the page file then DEFAULT PHP :eek::eek::eek:

    you probably could have stuck it in the profile just above where it says “stylesheet” like you would if u were doing JS

    As you now have this code in page>default.php can we now close this thread Phil?

    I took the liberty of copying the plugins>system>jat3>jat3>base-themes>default>page>default.php into templates>your_template>page>default.php so please if you need to add any more code to the head along with your meta tag and google analytics the new location of that file is where you should add it.

    This is still an Issue realised I had the compatibiltiy mode on when switched off the code is now working and same error is there
