September 7, 2011 at 4:07 pm #411265OK in trying to remove the left over stubborn remnants of plugings that were on the 1.5
I deleted the 2 plugins from the jos_plugins part of the database but they still remain in the admin extension manager….I have found more in the jos components section
Can I just delete all jce related?

September 7, 2011 at 6:34 pm #411309it would appear that when the switch to 1.7 was made the jos which was the old site database was kept (as advised by jupgrade) so maybe the remnants are coming from that….
in my databse the are j17 and below those the jos and I’ve been deleting stuff from the unused jos I think

September 7, 2011 at 8:44 pm #411322Hi Phil,
I have removed some old extensions and removed some stuff from the database that should not have been there. You will need to install the latest JCE now as I had to get rid of that to clear some crap out of the database.
You should be able to drop the jos_ tables and the jupdater ones now but make sure you take a backup of the database before you do so.
