How can make my search bar shorter (so that it starts after the vertical line after contact) and higher (so that it’s right under the black line)

In your custom.css file ( if you don not have it make a new one ) add this

@media (min-width: 920px) {
.col-md-3 {
width: 15%!important;
}
}
