if that still not help you can give me your admin account,the FTP Info via the ticket LDE-371-12754, I will have further checking on the issue for you.March 12, 2011 at 10:07 pm #381054We have this same problem on a recent install of ja_teline_iv and joomla1.6.
Fatal error: Call to a member function setState() on a non-object in /usr/www/users/shooting/jcontent_dev2/modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/content.php on line 150

March 14, 2011 at 4:06 am #381173Hello russw,
I’ve installed JA Teline IV many times but I haven’t got the problem as you said. Did you see this error on the front page after you had installed JA Teline IV?March 14, 2011 at 3:06 pm #381279We have the same problem:
Fatal error: Call to a member function setState() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/viarosario.com/subdomains/rumbos16/httpdocs/modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/content.php on line 150
How can we resolv this??

The search was working just after install. We’ve since rearranged some modules, added some modules (html, wrapper, etc.), and deleted some modules from the home page since installation but don’t know why that would cause a problem.

March 16, 2011 at 4:01 am #381551Please update JA newspro module to the latest version. Delete and re create ja newspro – default layout.
Regards!
March 21, 2011 at 9:56 pm #382585Just to follow-up on this issue – we found that the problem was the result of accidentally unpublishing the following two search menu items:
About Joomla->Using Joomla->Using Extensions->Components->*Search Component*->*Search*
