    Hi,

    After we have uploaded the site I have noticed the search function doesn’t work.
    I have tried publishing the search in different module positions but without any luck. The search is however working if I turn-on the search button off – within the module.
    The website is here: timberinteriors.com.au/
    I am not sure what is going on as I haven’t seen this issue before.

    It’s very difficult to guess the problem on your site. Please send me admin login and FTP account. I will help you to check this bug

    Hi,

    I still haven’t resolved this but hopefully narrowed it down.
    I had an older version of the site where the search is working. What I have done is”
    1. Copy all of the files across from the working site to the not working site.
    This didn’t solve the issue. The search is still not working.
    2. I also copied the database from the site not working to the site where the search is working.
    When doing this the search stops functioning –
    After doing the above it leads me to believe that it is something in the database that is different. I can’t figure out what though. The different search plugins are all published.

    Thanks
    J

    You can try to fix with this way:

    Open modules/mod_rokajaxsearch/themes/light/rokajaxsearch-theme.css file

    from

    #roksearch_search_str {background: #35587a url(search-icon.png) no-repeat 95% ;border-left: 1px solid #222 vertical-align:middle;box-shadow: none;height: 49px;padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0; padding-right: 0px; color:#fff068}

    to

    #roksearch_search_str {background: #35587a url(search-icon.png) no-repeat 95% ;border-left: 1px solid #222 vertical-align:middle;box-shadow: none;height: 49px;padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0; padding-right: 0px; color:#fff068;width:165px;}

    I should have updated the url in the post – I sent you an PM with a link to a test site which is a duplicate of the live one.
    http://timber.bohemiadesign.com.au/

    I had to change from the standard joomla search module to the roksearch module.

    Thanks,

    This is conflict in JS between com_search (search form of JOOMLA default) and com_breezingforms(Book Your Free Quote). When I disabled com_breezingforms component to test, the problem on your site is gone.

    You can raise this problem BreezingForms. You might get better answer from there
