Hello,
I want to get rid of the search field in the upper right corner.
Could someone please tell me how?

Hi Anneke,

Once you’ve logged into admin click on “Modules” then “Site Modules”. Look for the Search module. In the location column it should say “user4”. The quickest way to get rid of it is to click the checkmark looking icon to “Unpublish” Search.
