Search function on off canvas menu does not produce any results. I try searching for a ny word on the website and yields no matches. Even though I know the words are present. Please help.

HI
Its default Joomla search component , that is search from content (Articles) .If your site does not contain any article , it can not shows result .

If you want include your own result you’ll need create search plugin
