April 28, 2015 at 1:35 am #205891Hi,
I’m using JA Bookshop with Joomla 3.4.1 and with the Joomla search in the head-search position. My problem is that the magnifyer-glass is not clickable (to trigger the search). However, pressing the Enter-key triggers the search.
Anyone experienced this before and if so, what was the solution??? :((

April 29, 2015 at 3:41 am #568753Hi kaj,
It’s just a fontawesome icon and not for being clickable. If you want to have click action, you should enable the search button in backend settings of this Joomla Search module: http://prntscr.com/6zehdg

April 29, 2015 at 9:42 am #568792Saguaros, thanks for your reply – it explains a lot why I couldn’t click on it. 🙂
What I’m trying to accomplish is to have a clickable searchButton at the same place where the the fontawesome icon is placed:
Either using your solution and the searchButton.gif but how to get the gif-icon at the same place as the current fontawesome icon (within the head-search box)?
Or by making the current fontawesome (fa fa-search) clickable, which would be the preferrable method. Is this possible?
Cheers,

April 30, 2015 at 11:11 am #568968Saguaros, I solved it by:
– Update the Mijoshop to the latest version (v2.5.4)
– Reinstalled the Sidebar Search module (I might have installed the wrong version (v3) before)Now I’ve got a clickable magnifier-glass
Cheers,
