April 14, 2012 at 12:26 pm #176130Hello guys,
i have just purchased JA K2 search module (installed plugins and module) and i am testing here:
where i only search on three extra fields of a specific extra field group (dinning) … BUT when i try to press the button search it does not work.
Could you please advise on how to proceed?
(*) I am intending to use multiple ja k2 search modules each one of them (with plugin overiddes option turned on) searching on a specific extra field group. Is this possible? I remember in previous version where it was not possible (this plugin override option did not exist if i remember well)

April 16, 2012 at 9:00 pm #448626The template is “Newstream” of bamboo themes, using their zen grid framework. Joomla version is 1.5.26 and K2 version is 2.5.1 …
Is it possible to open a support issue regarding this problem? If yes how? I have submitted on this thread all relative info and selected to open a support issue with joomla art but i do not know if i am supposed to take any further actions….

April 17, 2012 at 4:52 am #448671Hi thanili,
You already provided all necessary information here so I think you don’t need to take any further actions, I have taken a look at your site and I see javascript conflict that prevent the search button of JA k2 filter module from working, the conflict comes from a plugin called System – JB Library, this plugin is loading Jquery javascript library that’s conflicts with the joomla mootools library, You can go to this plugin setting there you select jQuery Version to No that I think would help to get rid of problems
Regarding your question of using multiple ja k2 search modules, I think that’s ok you can use more than one modules and you should turn on the plugin overiride option.Good luck !

April 17, 2012 at 1:10 pm #448733Thanks Hoang for replying…
i have submitted a ticket also, and now search is working and this plugin (System – JB Library) is disabled. So i guess somebody (maybe you 🙂 ) from support disabled it…
Though the results in various search combinations do not seem to be 100% correct. I will check further and if such a problem exists i will submit a ticket/open a thread.
thanks!
