Hi everyone,
I just purchased the JA Directory and I have trouble configuring the blue "search now" box that is normaly displayed in the demo.
None of the search modules provided in the package seem to correspond the the "search now" box (and I can’t make the search modules really work, as a matter of fact…)
It seems that this module is an extra option to purchase ? Is it a joke or what, as it appears on the demo of the template and it gives the package its all interest ?
Can this directory template even work without it ?? The other search modules don’t even seem to make it possible the give results when you type "hotel" or "redmont" for instance
Thanks for your help in advancepavit Moderatorpavit

October 9, 2016 at 8:29 pm #974784Hi
Search now bar is built using Ja K2 Filter and Search component that need to be purchased separately as already described HERE
The other search modules don’t even seem to make it possible the give results when you type "hotel" or "redmont"
Since the main feature for search in JA Directory template is done using k2 and extra fields then component is needed to complete search features as showed in demo site.
We are sorry for any misunderstood about this, but as i said it is well specified on the template details page.
Let us know if we can help offering a discount on the JAEC subscription that allows you to download all Joomlart extensions.
Regards
October 17, 2016 at 9:41 am #977072Thanks for your prompt reply, Pavit.
I had replied to your message through the email, but it didn’t seem to work.
Could you arrange a discount if I buy the Ja K2 Filter and Search component ?
Thanks in advance,
Take carepavit Moderatorpavit

October 17, 2016 at 6:31 pm #977244Thank you, I downloaded the JA K2 Filter Component.
Could you help me configure it so that it appear exactly like your demo (especially, floating on the image : I can only place it below the image, when I choose the "section 1" position) ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

October 19, 2016 at 7:42 am #978006Hi
search-now module class suffix should have an empty space at the beginning
October 19, 2016 at 8:17 pm #978251Cool ! Works out (No chance I would have found out by myself).
THANKS
Again, 2 small questions :
- The search module is still floating left, and I would like in centered : Do I have to change the css (margin-left ; or float …) ? Didn’t find the option on the admin.
- How should I do to display the results directly on the GG map ?
Thanks again for your smart tips. ++

This is not an option that could be set from backend and this is the first time i see module aligned in that way – to be helpful this time i will need to take a look at the css code first – i cannot help since i cannot replicate it on my installation
How should I do to display the results directly on the GG map ?
This is not a template or module option , so i cannot answer to your question, i suppose you should hire a developer to customize such module result output .

Regarding the placement of the search module, here is the code below.
Thanks in advance.
