February 4, 2012 at 7:07 pm #173547I am currently experiencing problems with the Search position in Internet Explorer.
I changed the background of the search position to match the theme color, and it is working in all browsers except for IE.
I have already cleared the cache in IE, and have even used several computers that haven’t visted the site before with no luck.This is the code that I changed in the theme folderbluetemplate.css
/* Search ---*/
#ja-search, .moduletable_search .ja-box-ct { background-color: #3377bb; }Here is a snapshot of what the search module looks like in IE
Here is what it looks like in Firefox and Chrome. This is how I want it to look
Am I missing something here. Do I need to make changes elsewhere?
When I set Optimize CSS to no, everything falls into place, but I’m going to want to use this for better performance.Thanks

February 6, 2012 at 6:43 am #437086Hi,
It seems to me that the search box is taking some specific styling for positioning itself, from IE specific css.. Can you please provide your site link via PM so that I can check it suggest a change to fix it?
