Hi There, I seem to have an issue:

Issue: On home page or pages like contact us, if you enter any phrase in top-right search box and hit enter key, it will not get the correct url for search (with re-write enabled its http://www.walmsley.ca/component/search). However if you click any page that has more than one forward slash (/) in the query, the search function will work. For instance, go to Home > Company information page (note url http://www.walmsley.ca/walmsley-and-associates/company-information.html has two forward slashes) and enter any phrase in top-right search box, you will see it will yield search result page.

I have been informed that this issue is template related – wondering if anyone could comment on this for me? And hopefully help resolve the issue.

    Thanks!

    Dear tvigar,

Not sure but I think the issue is related to your SEF Function, Did you try to disable SEF and check the issue? If possible you can submit a ticket into our ticket system for further checking on this issue.

Hi, yes, I disabled the sef and the issue persists… I guess I’ll submit a ticket.

    Hi!
    1. You need to create a menu type “List Search Results” and publish it.
    2. Then in the Search module settings you need to specify the parameter “Set ItemID” = ID menu created in the previous step

It is in this menu will display the search results.
