June 27, 2013 at 9:16 am #188518Situation:
I have a 2 language website (Dutch, French). I have 2 K2 categories (one for each language), each has its own extra fields group.
I have 2 K2 Filter modules (again: one for each language), in the Dutch module i have selected the extra files from the extra filed group that is accociated with the dutch K2 categorie, in the French module i have selected the extra files from the extra filed group that is accociated with the french K2 categorie.Problem: The dutch K2 filter module works, the French doesn’t (Search result is null).
There is a lot of confusion because the documentation on this website shows screenshots for older versions of this module.
I’m using version 1.0.6 (the latest). It seems that in the older versions you we’re able to select the K2 categories in the module, but i do not see this option in my modules.
Could any one please help ?

It seems that in the older versions you we’re able to select the K2 categories in the module, but i do not see this option in my modules.

Because you disabled the “Filter by Category” option, so the categories list is hidden.Regarding to language issue, please make sure that you also have k2 items in the French language. Because this function will return items in active language.

June 28, 2013 at 1:35 pm #497299Thanks for your answer. You pointed me in the right direction.
I now found the problem: since ‘Filter by Category’ was disabled the categories list was hidden, and then you cannot see if the wrong category is selected 🙂
This is confusing. I think it would be more logical if you could still choose the category but have an other setting to hide it on the front-end.
Anyway, i can live with this but i’ms ure more people will strugle with this.HeR0 FriendHeR0
