If i do a search in JA University it will display the search results at the bottom of the page i’m in, if im in HOME it will display it all the way to the bottom but leaving all the modules on their place like the “slideshow”, “topsl2”, “topsl2”, and it place it on above “contentslider”.
And is the same if im in a blog page it replaces the blog info with the search results but what ever is in position “right2” stays the same.
I want to know how can i display the search results in a clean page?

September 10, 2012 at 9:56 am #466621Because result from on JA University is disabled. You can enable it by
Admin area -> Menus->About Joomla-> Edit Search Components menu and change the same screenshot
Remember clear cache from Admin area

Thanks Ninja Lead, now i have a question a little bit more complex, i want to make a site that will show videos, so i would like to add an image to each search result, wish it will be the thumbnail of the video related to the articles, if i can have a little thumbnail from youtube in the search result that would be awesome as well, my question is doable.

September 16, 2012 at 1:27 am #467119Hello Ninja Lead i have the a similar problem than this same question above but now with the calendar it displays the calendar results the same way, if im in HOME it will display it all the way to the bottom but leaving all the modules on their place like the “slideshow”, “topsl2”, “topsl2”, and it place it above “contentslider”.
How can i select a date from calendar and have it display in a clean window with out all the other blocks or customized my own layout for my calendar regardless where i am in my site.

Hi Ninja Lead,
I am having a problem showing the search result using ja-university template like explained by otomol.I am building a multilingual site, and it is working so far. I use Bahasa Indonesia as main language and English as secondary language. Currently, I am moving the Indonesian language content first. I noticed that when I do a search from ‘HOME’ (Utama in Bahasa Indonesia), the search result shows in the ‘content’ position with all other modules showing up, unlike the ja-university template that I see in my local installation.
I did a fresh and empty install of ja-university. Thus I don’t have the ‘default content’ nor menu ‘about joomla’ and the rest. I follow your instructions, and created new menus, with alias ‘search-component’ and ‘search’. I still have no luck in making the search result showing in clean page.
Note:
When I do search in any page on my site, it would lead to :
http://site url/index.php/component/search/?searchword=…In ja-university quickstart, it would lead to:
http://site url/index.php/search-component/search?searchword=…my site is: http://inovasi.bic.web.id
Can you or anybody please help?
