When I title of the article has characters as “ç” “ã” “ê” (very used in the Portuguese language) the title doesn’t appear in the result of the search.

it can be seen in the site http://www.espiritismobh.net if it looks for the word “evangelização”

I see that there are lot of results which is not in title if you search by this word “espiritismo”.

Could you verify plugin K2 search because JA K2 Filter will not process when search in other group ?

If I remove the “Latin character” title, the search result is displayed correctly.
I think that the search only works with English language characters

How to solve this?

Joomla 1.5 filter unicode url, so you should refer the article to fix it

Well, my problem is not with the SEF URLs The article suggested does not apply to my problem.
System search site works perfectly in my language (Portuguese) showing the titles of articles in the search results.
The problem comes when I enable the extension ja_k2_filter (plg_k2_jak2_indexing.v1.0.2 + plg_search_jak2_filter.v1.0.5) .In this case the articles of K2 in their titles that contain characters like “ç, ã, õ or ê” (for example) are not displayed correctly.

If I disable these plugins, the internal search system displays the result correctly.

hello! unfortunately i have the same problem (greek characters…)
the search is going crazy and show results tha are not at all wright..

i also have proble in k2 re-indexing it show error!
